Germans are well-known for their affection toward order, bureaucracy, punctuality, conformity to rules and even the club memberships. Such affections are so hyped, which could lead to the assumption that Germans truly worship those. The stamp collection called "Germans and what they sanctify" transforms profane into sacred. Common everyday goods are portrayed as pictures of saints and show, in an exaggerated way, what Germans are famous for. No liability for hurt religious feelings.
